Baby Charlie and I just got back today from a trip to my parents house. It was really nice to get away and also to get away from our dog! I know it sounds strange but I'm home all the time and she tends to follow me around the house all the time. Which can drive a person crazy and I know that she in part wants attention and also its unusual for me to be home so it disrupts her normal schedule too.
Charlie is smiling these days and getting stronger holding his head up. He definitely fixates on objects farther away, like ceiling fans! He tends to get cranky right before bed or nap time.
Big brother has finally taken the plunge and has changed a dirty diaper. I did slightly coerce him into it. It started out innocently by having him lay the baby on the changing table and unbuttoning the onesie. And then asking him "oh go ahead and do this part" and then this part, etc and before he knew it it was done. Tada!
